We define Hollow Crown as a journey to the top like a Crown that is not seen but still wants to be appreciated. By carrying out the Metal-Hardcore genre like a pillar in the kingdom of 5 Pandavas that exert each other’s emotions through distorted melodies to reach the top with humility. as Vocalist, Aditya Nugraha as Guitarist Rhytm, Gadhafy Muhammad as Guitarist Lead, Iman Akbari as Bassist, Virgio Pandu as Drummer.
Hollow Crown is also a place for us to convey every word, anger, and happiness of the life that we live and encounter everyday which is summarized in Hollow Crown songs. Like a palace, we are a foundation to strengthen the kingdom which is taken from a series of self-choices. ”

Hollow Crown is a band formed on August 25, 2012 with the genre Metal-Hardcore. At first the name of our band was Today Never End which consisted of Filo Hastaruci as Vocal, Aditya Nugraha as Guitar Rhytm, Iwan Wiradinata Guitar Lead, Ian Pamungkas as Bassist, Rizky Dwi Octabrianto as Drummer, and Rizky Agung as Synthizer in our initial formation.

As time went on, Iwan and Ian decided to resign from the band, and shortly after Iwan and Ian resigned, Agung was forced to resign from the band due to studying abroad. We took a 4-month hiatus to form a new formation.

After entering the turn of 2013, Aditya, Filo, and Rizky decided to change the name and reorganize the band formation. Puja Tegar Sakti entered to replace Iwan as Guitar Lead, then Gilang Rahmanto became Bassist after deliberating and deciding what name for this band we finally changed it to Hollow Crown which means “We still have honor without being seen”. With the formation of Filo as Vocal, Adit as Guitar Rhytm, Puja as Guitar Lead, Gilang as Bassist, and Rizky as Drummer.

With a new name and personnel, we immediately finished the first single entitled CHEAP. Unexpectedly this was our last performance with the lead guitarist “Puja” who decided to resign due to studying out of town, and Puja was followed by Gilang (Bassist) in early 2014.

Finally, you decided to invite Gadhafy Pøyster, who was originally an additional Guitar and Iman Akbari to replace Puja and Gilang, after getting new personnel, we immediately filled several events, and successfully completed our second single entitled SUGURE, and as time went on until now we already have 4 (four) singles, namely # 1 CHEAP, # 2 SUGURE, # 3 TRIANGLE, 4 # DIAFRAGMA.

In early 2016 we also had to lose Filo as Vocal and Rizky as Drummer, we were still excited to maintain this band, which eventually replaced Sam as Vocalist and Pandu as Drummer, this formation has survived until now.

And until now, we still express our aspirations and works through the genres we choose.
